Dynamite Shrimps
Step 1: Cooking shrimps
- Shrimps – 10 nos, cleaned and de-veined
- Chilly powder – 1 tsp
- Turmeric powder – 12 tsp
- Black pepper powder – 1/2 tsp
- Salt – 1/2 tsp
- Water – as needed
Preparation
Cook the shrimps in little water by adding all the above ingredients. Half cooking will do.
Step 2 : Preparation of batter
- All purpose flour – 1 cup
- Ginger powder – 1/2 tsp
- Garlic powder – 1/2 tsp
- Black pepper powder – 1/2 tsp
- Beaten egg – 1/2 of an egg
- Water – as needed
- Salt – as per taste
Preparation
Mix all purpose flour, ginger powder, garlic powder, black pepper powder, salt and beaten egg – add water and beat into a smooth batter of thick consistency.
Step 3: Frying
- Cooking oil – for deep frying
Preparation
Heat the cooking oil in a frying pan. Dip the half cooked shrimps in the batter and deep fry, till golden color.
Step 4 : Preparation of sauce
- Mayonnaise – 1/2 cup
- Red chilly sauce – 1 tbsp
- Honey – 1/2 tsp
- White vinegar – 1/2 tsp
- Hot sauce – 1 tsp
Preparation
Mix all of the above ingredients to prepare the sauce.
Step 5 :
The fried shrimps are coated with the above sauce and serve hot.
